Growing up with Dyslexia,

Writing was never something I imagined would be a strength—until I had educators and mentors who recognized my potential and nurtured my voice. As someone with dyslexia, I’ve often had to navigate systems that weren’t built with neurodivergent thinkers in mind. My writing is deeply personal, shaped by my experiences as a young adult with dyslexia, and driven by a desire to humanize policies and systems that too often feel impersonal and rigid.

Writing is also central to The RILEY Project, where I amplify the voices of neurodivergent individuals through storytelling, advocacy, and education. Whether through essays, articles, or social media, my goal is to challenge assumptions, spark conversations, and create space for more inclusive narratives—because the way we tell stories shapes the way we build the world.

How you can help

My writing is meant to spark conversation, challenge perspectives, and build a more inclusive world—but it’s only impactful if it reaches the right people. If my work resonates with you, I’d love your support in helping it reach a wider audience.

One of the best ways to do that is by subscribing to my Substack, The LD Viewpoint—whether through a free or paid subscription. Your engagement helps amplify the stories and ideas I share, ensuring that neurodivergent voices remain at the forefront of conversations about education, accessibility, and inclusion.

Another way to support my work is by making a donation of any amount to The RILEY Project, the nonprofit I founded to uplift and share the experiences of neurodivergent individuals. Every contribution helps sustain our mission, allowing us to continue building community, fostering storytelling, and advocating for a future where neurodivergent people don’t just navigate the world but thrive in it.

As I work to reimagine what’s possible, your support means everything—not just to me, but to the growing movement of people working toward a more inclusive and equitable society.
